To bring the approach closer and closer to truth is the aim and effort of all science.

Max Planck, The New Science, 1959.

Thermalphysics.org was created by the editor in order to share views that are new in Thermal Physics. As such, if you are a student, be cautious. Show respect for the ideas of your instructors. Understand established thermal physics before you simply accept new concepts.

This site was also created as an opportunity to discuss Max Planck and his ideals. He remains a powerful example for us all. He led a noble and tragic life. He held himself and others around him to the highest of standards. Take at least a moment to learn about the man who, more than any other, shaped the ideas of modern physics.

Much needs to be pursued in physics research. Science is dynamic and forever changing and there remains a great deal of work for our children and grandchildren. Therefore, as we work, it may be wise to recognize that the theories and ideas of today may become invalid tomorrow.

It is felt that modern physics has been mislead because it has not fully understood the importance of Kirchhoff's Law of Thermal Emission. The consequences are extremely serious, with implications spanning a very large segment of physics and medicine.
